Welcome to The Simple Table

The Simple Table is all about food — “food is the star”. I grew up watching low budget cooking shows on PBS and I enjoyed the simplicity of the production. The story was the food. As more and more channels showed up on cable and satellite television, programming had to fight harder and harder for each set of eyes. In my opinion, this has killed the pure essence of the cooking show. My hope is that The Simple Table will start a revolution in the culinary industry that will bring us back to a simpler time, when food was a special occasion to share with family and friends.
